Nice to hear from you. It can be traumatic going back to our previous ‘homes’ or homelands. Thats why it was so nice to go in a group of people who understood!
It sounds a bit dangerous just now in Cairo so I should wait awhile. The group I went with may be doing it again next year so shall I let you know?

Dear Wendy and David.
I enjoyed looking at the photos from Egypt. What a trip for you Wendy!!! Was it safe during the trip? I’d love to visit but told by lots of relatives not to go there just yet. I was told that in one of my past lives was a high priest to the one of the pharaohs. The countries that are closest to my heart are United Kingdom, USA (the Americian Indians) and Egypt. Still working on my theta healing and at present teaching art – I did a two year instructor course and now a qualified instructor.
Have a safe Christmas and all the best for 2012.

Just read your blog it took me straight back to Egypt. I also felt a coming home feeling. The whole trip was amazing and inspiring . It was a loving and amazing experience to meet you both and Wendy the healing session at the beginning of the week helped me so much. Thank you you are both angel x x

Hi Wendy, We seem to be very complicated beings whereby we can be affected by past lives, inner child, energy, ancestors and so forth. It is good to hear of your experiences here. I do feel that being able to intuit stuff does help a great deal otherwise a practitioner will need to try different aspects of healing as they find one does not work that well and therefore go on and try another. Thanks for your thoughtful comments.
We’ve found body scans to be really useful in finding out why people hold on to stories- in difficult cases, they are just so stubborn, they have to be right and won’t let go!
Of course throwing light on this is the answer

Hi Yael,
We tend to see things from our own small perception of our own little world. When we have Source level perception you can’t get a bigger picture. In our Beingness or in Theta we can bring this light and understanding into every cell by intending to do so. This goes down a layer to change feelings.
Our Higher Self is the spiritual part of us that may not yet be integrated into our Being. It has witnessed all our lifetimes so it may also be involved with our story. It may know more than us but it is still fallible. Give it Source level Perception in the same way. Hope this is clearer.

Can I just say what a relief to find someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more popular because you definitely have the gift.

Thank you for this very interesting article about how our identification with our stories can get in the way of healing, shifting, growing and changing. Much of what you write here makes me think of my own process with my own story. I’d like to ask you about the last paragraph. I find myself not fully understanding what the last sentence is really suggesting in regards to changing your story.

“Working with Reference Point Therapy, we can explore these ideas and acknowledge and accept all the feelings found. However, we have found that sometimes we need to persuade the Higher Self to accept these changes and this is where Source Level perception is extremely useful”

How do you go about persuading the Higher Self to accept the changes, and what do you mean by Source Level Perception (is that another word for “beingness”)? How does one access Source Level Perception and enlist it in persuading the Higher Self to accept the changes?

Thank you for this very insightful blog! I also find that many people hold so tightly to their story because they relate it to their self identity. Without the story their is no identity or they will have to change their identity which scares them. Their story is the only way they know how to connect with others and their tribe or family. Without the story they may have a fear of being abandoned or being an outcast. I have found it is the ego that holds onto the story, the heart and gut do not care about the story, they just want to feel safe and loved.
I agree, having Reference Point Therapy sheds light that the story is just a story, it is our attachment to the story that makes it ‘good’ or ‘bad’. Once there is no emotional charge to a story we tend to not need the story any more.
